E

EIS
an Environmental Impact Statement, which is a description and evaluation of the impacts of a development on the environment

F

Feasibility Study
a comprehensive study of a mineral deposit in which all geological, engineering, legal, operating, economic, social, environmental and other relevant factors are considered in sufficient detail that it could reasonably serve as the basis for a final decision to move forward with the development of the deposit for mineral production

H

Halite
commonly known as rock salt, the mineral form of sodium chloride,(NaCl)

I

Indicated Mineral Resource
that part of a Mineral Resource for which quantity, grade or quality, densities, shape and physical characteristics can be estimated with a level of confidence sufficient to allow the appropriate application of technical and economic parameters to support mine planning and evaluation of the economic viability of the deposit
Inferred Mineral Resource
that part of a Mineral Resource for which quantity and grade or quality can be estimated on the basis of geological evidence and limited sampling and reasonably assumed, but not verified, geological and grade continuity

K

KCl
a chemical formula for potassium chloride, or potash

M

Measured Mineral Resource
that part of a Mineral Resource for which quantity, grade or quality, densities, shape and physical characteristics are so well established that they can be estimated with confidence sufficient to allow the appropriate application of technical and economic parameters, to support production planning and evaluation of the economic viability of the deposit
MgCl2
a chemical formula for magnesium chloride
Mineral Reserve
the economically mineable part of a Measured or Indicated Mineral Resource demonstrated by at least a preliminary feasibility study
Mineral Resource
a concentration or occurrence of natural solid inorganic or fossilized organic material in or on the earth’s crust in such form and quantity and of such a grade or quality that it has reasonable prospects for economic extraction

N

NPK Fertilizer
a symbol in a designated order to show the content of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium as equivalent percentages of nitrogen, phosphoric pentoxide and potassium oxide

P

Potash
the commercial name for potassium chloride (KCl), used as a fertilizer and as an industrial feedstock
Preliminary Feasibility Study (pre-feasibility study)
a comprehensive study of the viability of a mineral project that has advanced to a stage where the mining method has been established and an effective method of mineral processing has been determined. It includes a financial analysis based on reasonable assumptions of technical, engineering, legal, operating, economic, social and environmental factors and the evaluation of other relevant factors which are sufficient for a qualified person, acting reasonably, to determine if all or a part of the mineral resource may be classified as a mineral reserve.
Probable Mineral Reserve
the economically mineable part of an Indicated Mineral Resource and, in some circumstances, a Measured Mineral Resource, demonstrated by at least a preliminary feasibility study
Proven Mineral Reserve
the economically mineable part of a Measured Mineral Resource, demonstrated by at least a preliminary feasibility study

a product comprised of formulated potassium chloride (KCl) particles
Subsurface Minerals
all natural mineral salts of boron, calcium, lithium, magnesium, potassium, sodium, bromine, chlorine, fluorine, iodine, nitrogen, phosphorus and sulphur, and their compounds, occurring more than approximately 60 meters (two hundred feet) below the surface of the land
Sylvinite
a rock containing sylvite, in varying mixtures with halite and insoluble material
Sylvite
the natural mineral form of potassium chloride (KCl)
