Frank Wheatley


Mr. Wheatley joined Karnalyte Resources Inc. as its President on February 5, 2018. Previously, Mr. Wheatley was Chief Executive Officer and director of Yellowhead Mining Inc., and prior to that was the Executive Director, Corporate Affairs and Strategy of Talison Lithium Limited until its successful acquisition by Chengdu Tianqui Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. in 2013.  Mr. Wheatley is an experienced senior executive with more than 30 years of international business, financial and legal experience with Canadian public mining companies operating globally in precious, base and industrial metals.  He has comprehensive experience at the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director level of two TSX listed companies, and extensive domestic and international experience with exploration, development and operating gold, copper and lithium companies.

Mr. Wheatley also brings extensive experience as an Independent Director, Committee Chair, and Committee Member, for a number of Canadian public mining companies.  He is currently an Independent Director of Teranga Gold Corporation, a gold mining company operating in Senegal, Burkina Faso and Cote D’Ivoire in West Africa. Mr. Wheatley received his Bachelor of Commerce and LL.B. degrees from the University of British Columbia.

W. Todd Rowan

Interim CEO & Director

Todd Rowan is a consulting firm owner partnered with TrendMax Agribusiness Group. TrendMax is a farm management consulting firm providing crop marketing and business planning services to agricultural producers in western Canada. Prior to partnering with TrendMax, Todd was the Director of Procurement at AGT Food and Ingredients Inc. (formerly, Alliance Grain Traders Inc.). and Procurement Manager at Prairie Pulse Inc. Todd also has many years of grain and chemical marketing and operations experience with United Grain Growers. Todd has a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture – Agricultural Economics degree from the College of Agriculture at the University of Saskatchewan. Todd also volunteers extensively in the Saskatoon community most notably serving as a coach for many years with Saskatoon Minor Hockey. Todd is also a long term shareholder of Karnalyte Resources Inc.

Danielle Favreau

CPA, CA, Chief Financial Officer

Danielle Favreau was appointed Interim Chief Financial Officer of Karnalyte Resources Inc. on December 31, 2015 and previously was Corporate Controller. Prior to joining Karnalyte, Danielle served as an Audit Manager and HR Manager at Virtus Group LLP. She has also served as Controller at Great Western Minerals Group and served many mining clients with Deloitte in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Danielle has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan and a CPA, CA designation from CPA Saskatchewan. Danielle served as a director of the Mendel Art Gallery and the Remai Modern in Saskatoon, serving on the audit and finance committees for both of these organizations. She is currently serving as a director on the board of the Saskatoon Community Foundation.

Ron Olchowski

B.Sc. Mech. Eng., Senior Manager, Engineering

Mr. Olchowski has held management positions in Operations, Design and Construction projects in mining, petroleum, energy management, and bio resources spanning over forty-four years. His mining experience has included energy, mechanical engineering, and project work with Potash Corporation of Saskatchewan, redevelopment of a sodium sulphate plant for Ormiston Mining, and project management of the Whitemud Resources mine and metakaolin processing plant. He assisted provincial and federal government organizations on energy management and renewables projects. He has worked as Manager on Karnalyte Resources’ Wynyard Carnallite Project since 2008, with activities including leading the Environmental Impact Studies, engineering activities on process and mining design for the Feasibility Study, and vetting Technical Studies.  Mr. Olchowski received his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering in 1972 from the University of Saskatchewan.
